How Booking a Jeep Safari in Side Works, Step by Step

Booking with us is a free reservation. No card details are taken online, nothing is charged in advance, and you pay in euros on the day of the tour. You can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before departure, so a reservation made weeks ahead costs you nothing if the holiday plan changes. Once the form is in we confirm your place, and your pickup time comes with that confirmation rather than on this page, because it depends on where your hotel sits on the collection route.

A reservation is not a payment

The thing most people want settled before they type their name into a form is what it commits them to. Here it commits you to nothing financial. There is no card field, no deposit, no online checkout and no charge appearing on a statement the next morning. The reservation holds seats in the convoy; the money changes hands in euros on the day of the tour, once you are actually on it.

That is exactly why it is worth reserving early rather than leaving it to the last evening of the week. Seats on the full-day Side Jeep Safari are finite, because eight to ten guests share each open-top 4x4, and a free reservation costs a holiday nothing while it protects the date you actually want. If you would rather read everything the day involves from start to finish before choosing a date, the complete guide covers it and the form will still be there afterwards.

What the form asks, and why each field matters

The form is short. It asks who you are, how to reach you, which date you want, which hotel you are staying in, and how many people are coming split by age. There is no long questionnaire and no account to create.

The age split is not bureaucracy, it is the price. Adults pay 20 EUR, children aged 4 to 12 pay 10 EUR, and infants aged 0 to 3 travel free. Give us the right numbers and the figure you are quoted is the figure you hand over on the day, with no recalculation at the gate. If you want to see how that arithmetic behaves across the whole range of tours, the price page sets out what the day costs in full.

  • Name and a contact number — so the confirmation and your pickup time can reach you
  • Date — the day you want to travel
  • Hotel — the building you are actually sleeping in, written as it appears at the entrance
  • Adults 13 and over, children 4 to 12, infants 0 to 3 — this sets both the price and the seats
  • A note, if anything applies: a very young child, a back or neck complaint, a language preference

What happens after you press the button

We read the reservation and confirm it back to you. That confirmation is the message to keep, because it repeats the date, the number of adults and children, the total you will pay on the day, and the pickup time for your hotel.

The pickup time only exists once the route for that morning is set, which is why no hour appears anywhere on this site and why the time reaches you in the confirmation rather than on the form. Collection is in the morning, after breakfast time. The time written in your confirmation is the one to follow. How the collection route is built, which resorts it covers and where you wait on the morning itself are set out on the separate hotel pickup page.

Three things worth telling us while you book

Most reservations need no notes at all. Three situations are worth a line in the message box, because each one changes something practical about the day rather than something administrative.

The first is a very young child. Infants aged 0 to 3 travel free and children aged 4 to 12 pay the child rate, but the more useful reason to mention it is planning: the day runs eight hours and parts of the route are bumpy. If you are travelling with a toddler in the group, say so and you will get an honest answer about whether the day suits you.

The second is your back. The route leaves the asphalt and the jeeps move over rough ground for stretches of the day, so if you have a back or neck problem we would far rather hear about it before you board than at the first bend. The third is your hotel name. Guests often give the name of the resort area, the name that appeared on a booking site, or the hotel they stayed in last year. We collect from the gate of the building you are sleeping in, so that is the name to write.

What you pay on the day, and what is already covered

The figure you are quoted covers the whole day: the drive in an open-top 4x4 with a professional driver, hotel pickup and drop-off, lunch at a lakeside restaurant by Green Canyon, and guiding throughout. Nothing on that list is charged again later in the day.

A couple of things are optional and settled on the spot only if you want them. Taken after lunch, the optional boat trip on Green Lake lasts an hour, costs 5 EUR per person and brings an adult's day to 25 EUR in total. Where the programme includes the Manavgat Waterfall stop, the entrance is paid there, and the small zoo at the village break works the same way. You decide about all of those on the day, not on the form.

  • Included: the jeep day, hotel pickup and drop-off, lunch, guiding throughout
  • Adult 20 EUR, child aged 4 to 12 10 EUR, infants aged 0 to 3 free
  • Optional, on the day: the one-hour Green Lake boat trip at 5 EUR per person
  • Optional, on the day: Manavgat Waterfall entrance where the programme includes it, and the village mini zoo
  • Not included: drinks, personal spending, photos and videos taken by the tour team

Changing your mind, changing your date

Holiday plans move. Cancellation is free of charge up to 24 hours before departure, on this tour and on every other day we run, and because no money has left your account there is nothing to refund and nothing to chase. One message is enough.

Changes work the same way. A different date, two friends joining you, a child who turns out to be four rather than three — tell us before that 24-hour mark and the reservation is adjusted. Inside 24 hours the convoy and the restaurant are already counting on your seats, so the earlier the message the better.

Booking the other days works identically

The same free reservation, the same pay-on-the-day rule and the same 24-hour cancellation apply to every tour on this site. The mechanics never change; only the day does.

What differs is the shape of that day, and a couple of those differences decide what you can actually put on the form. The night safari is designed for guests aged 12 and over, runs five hours, collects in the late afternoon rather than the morning, and operates only from early June to mid-November, so the date you choose has to fall inside that season. Each rafting and jeep combination is tied to its own departure resort, so the hotel you give decides which one you are on: seven hours from Side, nine hours from Evrenseki, Kumköy or Manavgat. The Alanya day out to the Dim River is eight hours and runs from April to November. The figures move with them — 35 EUR for the night safari, 28 and 17 EUR for the Side combo, 40 and 24 EUR for the nine-hour combos, 30 and 17 EUR for Alanya — and the price page is where each of those is broken down.

If you would rather ask a person first

Some questions are answered faster than they are typed: whether we reach a particular hotel, whether a date still has seats, whether the day works for a grandparent travelling with the family. WhatsApp on +90 536 603 75 84 reaches the same people who handle the reservations, in English, German or Russian, and asking costs nothing either.

Whichever route you take, the sequence is the same. Reserve free, receive the confirmation with your pickup time, stand at your hotel's main entrance gate on the morning, and settle up in euros once the day is under way.

Questions

Frequently asked

Do I have to pay anything when I book?
No. The reservation is free, no card details are taken online and nothing is charged in advance. You pay in euros on the day of the tour.
Do you take my card details on the website?
No card is taken online and there is no prepayment. The form collects only your name, contact details, date, hotel and the number of adults, children and infants.
When do I find out my pickup time?
With your confirmation, after you reserve — not from this page. Collection is in the morning, after breakfast time, and the exact hour is only fixed once that morning's route is built. Where you wait and which resorts the route reaches are covered on the hotel pickup page.
Can I cancel if the weather or our plans change?
Yes, free of charge up to 24 hours before departure. Since nothing was charged when you reserved, there is no refund to wait for — one message cancels it.
How do I enter children and infants on the form?
Count adults from 13, children aged 4 to 12 and infants aged 0 to 3 separately, because that split sets both the price and the seats: adults pay 20 EUR, children 10 EUR and infants travel free on the full-day Side Jeep Safari. Lunch and hotel pickup are included at those prices.
I gave the wrong hotel name — what do I do?
Message us with the correct one before your tour day. Pickup is arranged from the gate of the building you are sleeping in, so the name has to match that building rather than the resort area or a booking-site listing.
Do I need to book the Green Lake boat trip in advance?
No. It is an optional extra of 5 EUR per person decided on the day and paid on the spot, which takes an adult's day to 25 EUR in total. Skipping it changes nothing else about the programme.
